Star Wars Jedi : Survivor, developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, is the direct sequel to Star Wars Jedi : Fallen Order. Set five years after the events of the first game, it follows Cal Kestis, now a seasoned Jedi Knight struggling to survive in a galaxy consumed by the Empire.
 

The story is darker and more mature, exploring themes of loss, resistance and identity as Cal continues his fight against Imperial forces while protecting Force-sensitive allies. New characters, powerful enemies and mysterious ancient threats expand the Star Wars lore in meaningful ways.
 

Gameplay builds upon the foundation of Fallen Order with expanded lightsaber combat and deeper customization. Players can switch between multiple lightsaber stances, including dual-wield, double-bladed, crossguard and blaster stance, each offering unique strengths and tactical options. Force abilities are more powerful and versatile, enabling creative combat strategies.
 

Exploration is significantly enhanced with larger, more open planets featuring branching paths, side quests, hidden bosses and traversal puzzles. New movement abilities allow Cal to access previously unreachable areas, encouraging backtracking and discovery. Customization options extend to Cal’s appearance, lightsaber parts and companion droid BD-1.
 

Combat remains challenging and skill-based, drawing inspiration from Soulslike design with precise timing, parries and enemy patterns. Boss battles are cinematic and demanding, rewarding mastery of mechanics.
