Fable to Actually Launch in Same Timeline as GTA 6? Here's What You Need to Know

If you are wondering if the release of the next Fable game is being pushed, know that you might be able to play it by the end of this year. Going by its official Twitter (now X) handle, the game will arrive at some point in autumn 2026.

“Can’t wait for this game,” a user called Beware the Batman wrote on the microblogging platform. In response, Fable wrote, “We're excited to welcome you to Albion in Autumn 2026!” Still, we have to wait for the exact release date of the game.

There’s one concern though. The most anticipated video game of all time, GTA 6, is being released during this time. So, whatever game is being released alongside it will have a tough time getting off the shelves to run on gamers' consoles and systems.

With that said, the creators may try to push the release, which gives us December 2026, considering that GTA 6 is coming in on November 19, 2026 and the fact that Fable is trying to avoid a clash, according to some reports.

GTA 6 is The Only Game With a Confirmed Release Date For November 2026

If you’ll look at the release schedules for 2026, no upcoming game is confirmed to be coming out in November 2026. Though a few of them say that they’ll be coming in during Q4 of 2026, it is unlikely that they’ll be released close to GTA 6’s. A few of these games include Enshrouded, Chrono Odyssey, Deltarune: Chapter 5, Forza Horizon 6, and more.

But a few games are set for a release at the beginning of Autumn 2026. This includes Marvel's Wolverine, Phantom Blade Zero, Another Eden Begins, and more.

If you are waiting for a game other than GTA 6 this year, chances are that you’ll either be getting it in September, October, or December 2026. That’s because no one would like to clash with the biggest gaming phenomenon of all time.
