PlayStation Plus dropped its catalog for April 2026, and among the games in it, some will take you to the futuristic wildlands against metal dinosaurs and some against swathes of enemies you would like to slash.

All in all, you are getting eight new video games to play this month and now we shall see which ones made the cut here.

The Crew Motorfest (PS5 and PS4)

The third game in The Crew series is set in Hawaii, where players will find themselves speeding up their cars in various events available in Playlists, the main part of the game. The Grand Race and Demolition Race may also be of their interest if they are into a large-scale competition.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered (PS5 and PS4)

We all know the story of the young huntress Aloy, which began in 2017, who is trying to uncover her past in a futuristic (also apocalyptic) world. While it came with some decent graphics, a remastered version was released in 2024, which sort of stood tall as its sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, in different aspects like graphics, FPS, and more.

Football Manager 26 (PS5)

Critics have praised the latest game in the Football Manager series for being an improvement on its predecessors. PC Gamer’s Phil Iwaniuk mentioned in his review that football matches feel more real than ever here.

Warriors : Abyss (PS5)

You play, as the title suggests, as a warrior trying to defeat swathes and swathes of enemies as you go through hell. That said, as Sir Winston Churchill once said, “If you are going through hell, keep going.”

Squirrel with a Gun (PS5)

Enemies in this game have absolutely no idea who fired a round because it’s a squirrel with a gun. This game is an example of why even video games were made in the first place. This is sort of an addiction if you start playing. The funny squirrel has also been called the “furry John Wick” in an IGN review by Travis Northup.

The Casting of Frank Stone (PS5)

The Casting of Frank Stone may share the same universe as Dead by Daylight, but that doesn’t mean it is its spin-off. It follows four young filmmakers trying to make a horror film, unaware that their experience is about to become one horror film itself.

Monster Train (PS5)

As the name suggests, there will be monsters on a train in this roguelike game. The players have to use different cards to summon their monsters and stop the other monsters trying to invade deeper in this train.

Wild Arms 4 (PS4 and PS5)

Lastly, there’s the classic game Wild Arms 4 that was originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2006. The role-playing game brings the protagonist Jude Maverick back, and while he is wondering what is happening in his isolated town enclosed in a sphere, he sees a girl for the very first time in his life.
