Insomniac’s Spider-Man Remastered has some of the best bosses in the entire lineage! From fighting abilities to visuals, everything is just “PEAK”; however, compared to RPGs, these boss fights are nowhere to be found. To be very honest, facing boss fights is no easy math; all you need to do is cover up your combat basics, and for God's sake, “STOP SPAMMING”.

We have all played Spider-Man games in our lifetimes, and bosses have always been a tough code to crack! So today, we’ll end this long-running hassle that millions of gamers face.

How to Beat Early Bosses and The Sinister Six in Spider-Man Remastered?

Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin

Who doesn’t know Kingpin! Serving as one of the most classic villains in the entire Spider-Man franchise, this notorious criminal is known for his mischievous schemes, which run through his extensive criminal empire. Don’t you worry, as Fisk is the first primary boss of the storyline, where you can get your hands clean! Thanks to Insomniac, this minor boss fight serves as the introduction to the basic combat mechanics of the game.

Before clashing fists with Kingpin, clear out the turrets and thugs, as they’ll become chaos amidst the fight if ignored. Web shooting is the key! Kingpin will not go down with normal punches, remember you are Spider-Man, and what’s a Spider-Man without his web abilities? So stagger him by shooting webs and throwing objects to deal major health damage!

Note : Mobilizing is the main attribute to defeat bosses! Evading attacks and dodging at the perfect time requires patience, but if learned, then there’s no going back for you to speedrun this game!

Herman Schultz, aka Shocker

I see you have completed your basic training against Kingpin, and now you are motivated to fight more bosses from the storyline! The game introduces a high chase mission with a head-to-head fight against another member of Sinister Six known as “Shocker”. Comparatively, the first encounter is pretty easy if you have excellence in free-roaming, as all you need to do is chase the armoured villain while dodging his energy blast mid-air.

But the second encounter in the Bank is what shapes your combat abilities for further fights in Insomniac’s Spidey verse. Jam-packed with the same attack patterns, all you need to do is evade energy blasts as they inflict heavy damage to Pete, and use web shots or standard attacks to defeat Shocker. Use wide openings to deal heavy damage during his mid-air pulse attack.

Electro & Vulture

Prioritizing is an essential asset during this fight! Why so? Well, now the game understands that you are the chosen one and drops two of the known antagonists from the superhero verse, known as Electro and Vulture! Both are formidable foes of Spider-Man; the fight is not easy at all, as you need to focus on one before shifting towards the second one. As per the fandom, it is recommended that players should fight Electro first, as he’s irritating. Defeat Electro by constantly webbing up while he gets his energy recharge from generators and deal a powerful combo attack. Repeat this pattern, and you are set to go against Vulture. Remember, staying airborne is the most helpful thing you can do, as it will protect you from Electro’s ground attacks. Without Electro’s parenting, defeating Vulture is an easy task. All you have to do is chase him, dodge his attacks, and deal heavy damage by striking him with rapid web shooting.

Rhino & Scorpion

Remember, with great responsibilities come great fighting duos, and Rhino paired with Scorpion would be the last thing that you would want to experience. Believe me, the spam will not work from now on, you will need to strategize your approach accordingly. Dealing with both enemies is a hassle. Focus on Scorpion first, as his poison shots inflict rapid damage to the health bar and have formidable ranged abilities.

Use the environment during this fight; stagger Rhino by throwing objects at him and use web shooting & combo attacks to overcome Scorpion's presence. With just Rhino remaining on the battlefield, you will need ample patience and valor to fight head-on against this armored beast. Lure him into various traps and lay a powerful combo attack while he’s stunned! Repeat this process for sometime and your fear of fighting Rhino vanishes in thin air!

Martin Li, aka Mr. Negative

Considered as one of the hardest boss fights in Insomniac’s Superhero verse, Mr. Negative is a widely known antagonist from the 2018 Spider-Man game. This fight includes almost everything and prepares you to fight Doc Ock in the ending scenes of the narrative. Filled with speedy car-chase, rapid energy blast, and electrifying melee attacks, this boss could take a while to defeat.

Before charging at Mr. Negative, deal with his minions to avoid interference and maintain distance from the energetic powerhouse as he’ll wipe out your existence in seconds.

Use environmental settings to stun Mr. Negative and deal heavy combo attacks. Time your dodges and create openings while he attacks you with his rapid energy blasts. Get rid of him as quickly as you can after dismissal of his supercharged version by constantly attacking him with a barrage of web shots and standard attacks.

Doctor Octopus

Congratulations, you are on the last stage of the game, where you’ll be doomed by Doc Ock, also known as Doctor Otto Octavious. Serving as the final antagonist of the game, his boss fight is hard to conquer! Focus on health and avoid close combat. Why so? Because Doc Ock will rip you apart like a rag doll with the help of his mechanical tentacles. With minimal openings for attacks, this fight is fast, and you will need to act quickly before Doc deals life-threatening damage.

The fight has three stages where you’ll need to use objects to stun him, stay airborne to avoid massive ground attacks, and maintain distance while there’s an opening for a melee attack. Even though it’s simple to describe, but is hard to implement, you’ll need to be perfect at dodging and strategizing attacks from a distance. Use the openings to shoot webs and deal major damage by standard attacks. During the last phase, avoid his ground attacks and ricochet his attacks to defeat the final boss of Spider-Man Remastered.
