Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, is a story-driven single-player action RPG set shortly after the execution of Order 66. The game follows Cal Kestis, a former Jedi Padawan forced into hiding as the Galactic Empire hunts down the remaining Jedi.
 

Living as a scrapper on the industrial planet Bracca, Cal’s connection to the Force is rediscovered after a life-threatening incident draws the attention of the Empire’s deadly Inquisitors. With the help of allies such as Cere Junda, Greez Dritus and the lovable droid BD-1, Cal embarks on a journey to rebuild the Jedi Order and uncover ancient secrets.
 

Gameplay blends lightsaber combat, Force powers, and exploration-driven level design inspired by Metroidvania and Soulslike elements. Combat emphasizes timing, parries, dodges and stamina management, rewarding patience and skill. As players progress, Cal regains Force abilities such as Push, Pull, Slow and Wall Run, opening new combat and traversal options.
 

Players explore diverse planets including Zeffo, Kashyyyk, Dathomir and Bogano, each featuring interconnected paths, environmental puzzles, hidden upgrades and optional challenges. Backtracking is encouraged as new abilities unlock previously inaccessible areas.
 

Customization options allow players to personalize Cal’s outfit, lightsaber components and BD-1 cosmetics. Boss encounters against powerful foes—including Sith Inquisitors and massive creatures—deliver cinematic and challenging moments.
