Splatoon 3, developed and published by Nintendo, is the latest entry in the vibrant and fast-paced Splatoon series. Set in the desert-themed Splatlands, the game builds upon the foundations of its predecessors while introducing new mechanics, weapons, stages and modes that enhance both casual and competitive play.
 

The core multiplayer mode, Turf War, pits two teams of four players against each other in three-minute matches. The objective isn’t eliminations, but territory control—teams compete to cover the most ground with their ink by the end of the match. Players can transform into squids or octopuses to swim through ink, flank opponents and move quickly across the map.

Salmon Run: Next Wave expands the cooperative PvE experience, adding new bosses, special events and the ability to throw eggs—introducing more strategy and chaos.
 

Competitive players can dive into Anarchy Battles (Ranked), X Battles and League-style modes, while frequent Splatfests keep the community engaged with themed competitions and limited-time events.
