Halo Infinite is a sci-fi FPS featuring Master Chief’s return in an open-world campaign on Zeta Halo, along with free-to-play multiplayer offering arena modes, big team battles, weapons, vehicles and seasonal content.
Halo Infinite, developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios, is the sixth main entry in the legendary Halo franchise. The game features a hybrid structure—combining classic mission-based action with a semi-open world—where players explore Zeta Halo, a massive ringworld filled with Banished strongholds, secrets, Forerunner structures and wildlife.
The story follows Master Chief, who awakens adrift in space after a defeat by the Banished. With the help of the Weapon, a new AI companion, Chief sets out to stop Atriox’s forces and uncover mysteries surrounding Cortana and the Halo installations. The campaign emphasizes freedom, letting players approach objectives using vehicles, grappling hooks, stealth and vertical traversal.
Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode is free-to-play and includes classic Arena modes (Slayer, Oddball, Capture the Flag), Big Team Battle, ranked competitive playlists, training modes and limited-time events. The gunplay is polished and skill-based, featuring iconic weapons like the Battle Rifle, Needler, Energy Sword and new additions such as the Shock Rifle and Bulldog shotgun.
Armor customization, coatings, Battle Pass progression, and Forge mode support player creativity and long-term engagement. Forge allows players to build custom maps, game types and community experiences that fuel Halo’s user-generated content ecosystem.
With updated visuals, orchestral music, enhanced movement and a blend of nostalgic and modern design, Halo Infinite revitalizes the Halo identity while appealing to new and veteran players.

Rated T for Teen for violence, mild blood and sci-fi combat. Features battles against alien enemies, weapon-based action and online multiplayer interactions.
