Speaking of the events section, Geoff Keighley, a renowned journalist and event producer, announced Summer Gate Fest 2026 a couple of hours ago on his X account (formerly Twitter). Commencing from June 5, 2026, the event will drop the curtain on June 8, 2026, while revealing blockbuster games, release dates, and out-of-the-oven trailers. 

 

Likewise, Summer Gate Fest 2026 will also premiere a SGF: Play Days event from June 6 to June 8. Not being the limelight of the entire show, SGF: Play Days is an invite-only, hands-on gaming experience for industrial journalists, content creators, and gamers from around the world! Hosted by Geof Keighley, the event will showcase “Day of the Devs”,  an exclusive interview with mainstream and Indie game developers. Further, the event will end with a live conference with “The Game Business”, a website with expert analysis of the gaming industry!

Where is Summer Gate Fest 2026 Going to Take Place?

The venue has been changed…. And this time it's going to be prestigious and iconic. According to Geoff’s announcement, Summer Gate Fest is going to be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA. A stage where legendary shows like The Oscars have been hosted! Similarly, the Play Days event and Live conference will also share the same stage.
