What a joyous start to the summer of 2026! Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive added the GTA VI Title Ids to Sony’s PlayStation Store. Sighing in relief to millions of fans, the game is now officially set to release on November 19, 2026. 

 

The hotline was revealed by dataminer PlayStation Game Size’s X account (formerly Twitter) on March 1, 2026. Several fans and analysts have flooded the internet with speculations regarding the pricing factor and pre-order announcement. PlayStation Game Size’s dataminer, on the other hand, also stated that “I’ll expect we’ll see something about the game soon, probably the start of pre-orders”.

 

While Strauss Zelnick (CEO of Take-Two Interactive) claimed that GTA VI’s marketing campaign will begin in the summer, it's a high possibility that we might witness a brand-new trailer along with the commencement of pre-order registrations! 

 

Generally! These types of bombshells are dropped shortly before the reveal of pre-orders on the PlayStation Store; however, for now, the officials have not revealed an initial date for pre-orders and the different variants of the game. As the game officially comes close to our screens, a crucial question pops up in our minds: When will GTA VI release its pre-orders, and At what price will Rockstar mark list their different editions? 

Is Pre-Order the Next Big Thing from Rockstar?

Undoubtedly, this will define our existence from now on, leaving the entire fanbase on a cliffhanger. Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive have yet to announce a reveal date for pre-order on GTA VI’s official page on PSN. 

 

“To be honest, it completely depends on the publisher, and it's not something I know for sure. But I don’t believe it will take long,” stated by dataminer PlayStation Game Size. It seems like the second week of March will be the commencement of the summer marketing campaign with a pre-order announcement and a third trailer for the upcoming instalment. 

 

Shifting towards the pricing factor, several analysts and industry insiders have speculated that the standard edition will be priced at $80. Meanwhile, a set of analysts claim that GTA VI’s standard edition could climb to a whopping $100 price. Although the game has a rumored budget of $2 billion, pricing the standard edition at $100 might become a concern throughout the industry.
