Fasten your seatbelts, as Bandai Namco Entertainment has teased an announcement regarding a new RPG reveal. Hub to some of the most grinding RPGs, the production house has left fans on the edge of their seats…. Announced a couple of hours ago with a 17 second teaser on their official X account (formerly twitter), the reveal will premiere on March 5 and March 6, 2026 (according to different timezones), on Bandai Namco’s official YouTube channel. Fans and enthusiasts can also set a reminder on the pre-scheduled teaser.

Munching on late night suppers never goes well for me as now my anxiety level is at its peak! “A Serenity soon to be distributed”; published with this caption, undoubtedly, there’s minimal information about what the publisher wants to convey; however, the internet has been flooded with millions of speculations.

The teased snippet showcased an anime art-style environment with soothing background music, along with a character, presumably a knight with red color shield and sword mounted at his back!

Will Bandai Namco Reveal a Repaint or a Brand-New Standalone? Speculations

For those who don’t know, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Elden Ring, and Dark Souls are some of their infamous creations that made the entire community suffer in agony! Moving towards the speculations, fans from the r/xbox and r/pcgaming have vouched for another release of the same old “Tales of” series, as the snippet highly blends anime artstyle, further hinting at a re-release or brand-new standalone of the iconic JRPG titles. Before heading ahead, I want to clear some bizarre doubts of anticipators from Reddit…. The upcoming reveal cannot be “an out-of-the-oven” Elden Ring: Nightreign DLC because FromSoftware and Bandai Namco released “The Forsaken Hollows” on December 4, 2025 (in fact, the announcement teaser doesn’t even delve into the dark and grittier setting of Elden Ring).

According to my perspective, we are definitely going to get a new “Tales of” game as the legendary franchise celebrated its 30th anniversary with a special “next information reveal” announcement for a brand-new anime project in collaboration with ufotable (creators of highly acknowledged anime series: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba).

Speaking of the announced teaser, the font showcased at last gained my attention instantly, especially the blue highlighting on the letter “L” of REVEAL, presumably hinting that we might be seeing a repaint of “Tales of Luminaria,” which released in 2021.

Wrapping Up

The anticipation is higher than ever, and fans around the world are restless to witness what Bandai Namco holds for their followers. Till then, comment down your speculation regarding the “NEW RPG”
