A gamer isn’t a person with a mouse in right hand and fingers on the keyboard and playing only AAA games like Call of Duty: Warzone. Gamers today also hold a phone horizontally to play games like Battlegrounds Mobile India, or BGMI, as we know it. And they’ve got a taste too. Of smooth gameplay, great visuals, range of controls, and more.
The game has come a long way since it was first released as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Got banned in India and came back as the title we know it by in the country today. Millions of players are playing it already and many more might be looking to enter these battle zones. If you are a latter lot, you need a good phone to run the game. Now, there are several beasts available in the market that you can go after, but if you are under a budget of, let’s say, INR 30,000, this list is for you.

But if you are already playing it and need to upgrade a device in this range, then this list is for you too. So, hop up for a ride then. It won’t get bumpy, we promise.
iQOO Neo 10R
Neo 10 R is one of the finest iQOO phones available. It comes with the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and 12 GB/256 GB of memory combined with the powerful Adreno 735 GPU. So, it is unlikely that you will see any lags while looking for the enemies ahead.

BGMI’s recommended specs include Android 12 or later, 8 GB RAM or up, Snapdragon 7 series or better, Adreno 825 or Mali-G615 MC6 or better, and storage space between 8 GB and 10 GB. And, as you may have noticed, the iQOO Neo 10R’s comes with better specifications already. It has a pretty good battery too, a 6,400 mAh battery that’ll give you about five hours to play. Though things can get heated up in the game and in reality too. So, try to get those breaks in between.
This beast of a phone is currently available for just above INR 30,000, but if you exchange it, then you’ll return under your budget range.

OPPO K13 Turbo
K13 Turbo is under the 30k range, but it does come with a few compromises in contrast to the one above. For example, it has an 8 GB/256 GB memory combination. The GPU is different here, Mali-G720 MC7, but still better than what BGMI requires. Different processor too, the Mediatek Dimensity 8450, which is also a hell of a lot better than the recommended specs.
One thing's remarkable here, though: its cooling system. It comes with a large VC cooling system to dissipate the heat while you play. There’s a large 7,000 mAh battery in there too, so you get better playing hours than the iQOO phone above.
As of this writing, OPPO K13 Turbo is priced at INR 28,878, which can go down if you are exchanging your current piece.
realme P3 Ultra
P3 Ultra costs nearly the same as K13 Turbo, currently available for INR 28,990. It too has an 8 GB/256 GB memory combination but a slightly older Mediatek processor, Dimensity 8350 Ultra, so you’ll have to see some lagging issues if you are going full force in BGMI. Speaking of graphics, it comes with a Mali G615-MC6 GPU with it.
There’s a smaller Li-Ion 6000 mAh battery in the P3 Ultra, so you will get fewer hours to play the game than the above two phones.
Xiaomi POCO X8 Pro
Xiaomi’s POCO was recently given the Pro title with its latest in the X series. Though it’s above the 30k range, you’ll be able to bring it under INR 30,000 through an exchange offer. But your gaming experience is going to be awesome with this one in your hands. It comes with an 8 GB/256 GB memory combination, Mediatek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, and a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU.
Battery is good at 6,000 mAh here, so lock around 5 hours while playing BGMI. However, Xiaomi’s phones do come with heating issues so watch out when it gets too hot.
Nothing Phone (3a)
We are finishing off with the cheapest phone on this list, Nothing Phone (3a), which is labeled at INR 24,999 now. But that doesn’t make it any less of a gaming phone. At that price, you get 8 GB/128 GB memory combination, SnapDragon 7s Gen 3, and Adreno 81 GPU. So, your BGMI experience isn’t compromised here.
But the cheapest phone in the list also comes with the smallest battery, with 5,000 mAh power. You get fewer hours to play than any of the phones above.
Mommy’ll call early to recharge the cells, boys.
