If you are still unaware of this colossal announcement, then my friend, you are missing out on a lot of things, as Saber and Lionsgate have announced an AAA “untitled” John Wick game in collaboration with Chad Stahelski (director of John Wick’s franchise). What is the John Wick Game All About? Trailer Breakdown

As mentioned above, the officials announced the untitled game with a jaw-dropping trailer at Sony SOP. Promising that the game will feature original gameplay from the John Wick timeline before the incidents of “Impossible Task”, the announcement trailer kicks off with a classy Kingsman-like environment where a young John is showcased, wearing his iconic Italian-style suit! 

Paired with an epic version of John Wick’s theme, the trailer goes berserk with John’s encounter with several enemies. Right before the end, the trailers spill some tea and depict a snippet of gameplay filled with nerve-wracking “gun-fu” combat. According to the trailer, it seems like the game will act as a repaint of the early life of John Wick before he goes berserk on the night of a suicide mission assigned by Viggo Tarasov. Shifting towards the announcement, the officials have yet to reveal the title along with a release date for this highly anticipated “GTA: Who Killed My Dog.”

Which John will Fans Get to see in the Upcoming Game?

To be very honest, characters play a vital role in uplifting a storyline. But here, character is the centre of attraction as it’s a repaint of the original title from the franchise (officially announced by Saber Interactive). Unlike John Wick Hex (released in 2019), where John goes full throttle against a brand-new antagonist, “Hex,” who kidnaps Charon and Winston, the upcoming AAA game will showcase the early years of Baba Yaga. Starring Keanu Reeves in action, fans will likely see the prime of John, as he brutally kills the Tarasov mob’s enemies. Answering to the “High Table”, John will carve his way to the top and become a renowned assassin in the crime underworld under the mentorship of Marcus. What’s more, you ask?… Well, if Saber Interactive is behind the scenes, then we might see a successor to this game, which will continue the cinematic storyline of John Wick after the night of the “Impossible Task”.
