GTA 5 Beginner’s Guide : A lecture where Chaos gets 100 Marks!

Before diving deep and spreading my wisdom, the game is set in a fictional state of Los Santos, where you don the role of three maniacs known as Trevor, Michael, and Franklin. Yeah, the game offers three playable characters. After failing a major heist in North Yankton in 2004, these three criminals relocate to Los Santos to escape their previous crimes. Still, their paths cross again, bringing a new chapter of bombastic heists and criminal activity as they struggle to survive in the ruthless city!

Note : This beginner guide does not contain “How to excel in GTA Online,” so don’t frame me as FC Barcelona did to Luis Figo after his move to Real Madrid!

Lecture Prologue

Do not speedrun for the sake of the storyline! Enjoy the world-building, character development through every cut-scene, and build relations with NPCs and play a role-playing life to witness new locations and side quests.

Lecture 1 Learn The Characters

GTA 5 is more than a chaotic open-world sandbox. Although it contains a Rockstar brand name, the game is the polar opposite of San Andreas and GTA IV. In here, each character has a unique ability that will help you to get through a lot of chaos in Los Santos. Explore each street with Franklin’s NFS like driving ability. Enjoy Michael De Santa’s precise shooting as he helps you to escape from grave situations. Trevor Philips, on the other hand, is a walking apocalypse, meant to create havoc throughout the city, excavate missions and heists with such an amazing trio. All in all, upgrade various skills like stamina, shooting, strength, stealth, and lung capacity with each quest lined up at your hideout. What’s more, you ask?..... Well, maxing out stats on each character unlocks different playstyles, like pro racer, triathlete, ninja, ace, etc.

Lecture 2 Is Money Important in GTA 5?

Debit what comes in & Credit what goes out! Yeah, GTA 5 uses this rule of accounting very strictly, as money is tough to earn but easy to spend! Whenever you feel like there’s nothing to buy in-game? New weapons, hypercars, and other luxury items will grab your attention like the speed of an F1 car. No sugarcoating! Spend your money wisely throughout the storyline as you’ll need new mansions, cars, and weapon crates to proceed further in the narrative. Now comes the real question: How to earn a large amount of money faster? Complete bank heists, it seems absurd, but it’s simple. Enter the world of criminal syndicates and complete flashy heists that contain a hefty amount of  GTA dollars. Each heist requires patience, strategic planning, and specialists who will rip your pockets off. But don’t you worry, as you’ll get a decent amount of shares with minimal failure! Still, if you don’t want to go the wrong way, the stock market is a gold standard for earning millions of GTA dollars. Complete Lester’s missions, which are jam-packed with trading opportunities. It requires no rocket science…..All you need is to buy low and sell high, and you can walk off with a large fortune that you haven’t seen in decades. What’s more, legally? Well, invest in real estate and find hidden packages. Is it worth the time? Hell yeah, hidden packages can be worth 25,000 GTA $.

Lecture 3 : Cars & Ammunition

Have a bad aim or don’t want to kill someone innocent for business purposes (leave the game immediately). Jokes apart! Turn on the aim assist; it comes in two variants: auto and partial. Feel free to use auto-assist if your aim flies high into the sky, or use partial aim if you have a rigid movement while aiming at different targets simultaneously. A perfect loadout will always help you to walk out as Heath Ledger did in Batman: The Dark Knight. Always equip a pistol for sudden combats, an assault rifle for major missions. Also, switch to Trevor if you feel that the night will stretch long, as his special ability turns the screen yellowish, which indicates his rage moment. Each bullet you shoot will give double damage; however, the opposing bullets, explosives, and deadly car rams will inflict half damage to Trevor during his special ability. Cars are important! If you want to maintain your pink slips, then keep one supercar to escape from a police chase and keep one muscle car for heist purposes.

Lecture 4 : Map Exploration and Side Quests

For those who don’t know, the GTA 5 map is way bigger than Ghost of Tsushima. Covering around 80 to 81 square kilometers, GTA 5’s map consists of various side quests and easter eggs that take weeks to complete. To be very honest, if you are not here for speedrun, GTA 5 will take a massive amount of your sleepless nights to explore the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County. Each area offers a distinct award, which might be a new weapon, a car upgrade, or a bag with millions of GTA dollars. I would definitely recommend that you buy the taxi company in Downtown Vinewood to collect a hilarious amount from passengers. What else can you do? Go for the Altruist Cult Shootout, completing all four shootouts will reward you with a grand prize of 100,000 GTA dollars.
