Marvel’s Wolverine : Lore Setting
Delve into a blood-spilling journey with Liam McIntyre’s Wolverine as he confronts rival mutants. According to the recent trailers and Insomniac’s post-show from Sony State of Play, the storyline will follow self-discovery and vengeance rather than the classic hero saving citizens from a generational league of villains.
Reportedly! The entire game is built around “staying true to the Wolverine experience”, meaning it's a full package of what grotesque art feels like.
Set in a dark, mature, and gritty environment, accompany Logan as he wanders around to restore his memory (A cult classic). Marcus Smith (Creative Director of Insomniac) stated the game also contains arch-enemies like Omega Red and Mystique.
Speaking of world-building, the trailer confirms pitch-perfect locations such as Madripoor: the iconic X-Men hideout, where underworld activities are considered common, the Canadian Wilderness: highlighted as official coverage on a global platform, Insomniac confirms a snowy wilderness, Canada as the second location, which is by far considered the home of Logan, and the last but not least Tokyo: Bringing you the nostalgic clash between (Logan and Shingen), official trailer confirms the bustling Tokyo as the third world-setting for the game.
