Waiting for Marvel’s Wolverine feels like waiting for Magneto to finally admit he was wrong - it’s exhausting, slightly painful, and involves a lot of anticipation.
If you were one of the hopeful souls who tuned into the February 13th, 2026, State of Play expecting Logan to slice through your OLED screen, you probably walked away feeling like you just took a Hulk-sized punch to the gut. While Sony was busy polishing the God of War Trilogy Remake, our favorite grumpy Canadian was a total no-show.
But don’t leave the room just yet. Here is our take on when Marvel’s Wolverine is hitting PC and why your GPU might already be sweating in fear.
The State of Play “Snikt-Tease”
The recent State of Play was the gaming equivalent of a "U up?" text that never gets a reply. Despite the rumors, Insomniac kept Logan in the shadows. However, the breadcrumbs are there if you look closely.
Insomniac’s recent social media activity has pivoted to a very specific tweet (X) that said 'Spring 2026.' That is now the new 'hope date' for a full gameplay reveal. While the PS5 version is locked in for a September 2026 launch (strategically dodging the GTA VI in November), the PC version will have to play the waiting game.
When is the PC Release for Marvel's Wolverine?
Most of the publications out there will give you the "soon enough" shrug. But we at OrbeatX, know better. Looking at the 'Sony-to-PC pipeline' established by Spider-Man 2 and God of War Ragnarok, the window seems to have shrunk faster than Ant-Man.
Expect Marvel’s Wolverine to make its way onto Steam and the Epic Games Store by Late 2027 or Early 2028. Sony likes their 12-to-15-month exclusivity window, but they also like money (well, who doesn't).

Why it might make RTX 3060 Cry?
The 2024 leaks gave us a glimpse of the technical monster Insomniac is building. It isn't just about those shiny claws - we’re talking about Real-Time Anatomical Regeneration.
In this game, Logan’s flesh will get stripped away to the adamantium in real-time. Your PC will have to calculate muscle fibers knitting back together, blood splatter physics, and the specific way chest hair reacts to a Sentinel’s heat blast. If you think Cyberpunk 2077 was a hog, Wolverine is going to be a full-grown wild boar.
What the "Leakers" Missed
Everyone seems to be ignoring the PS5 Pro factor. The game is being built with PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) as a backbone. For PC gamers, this means the port is being designed from the ground up for AI upscaling. If you aren't running DLSS 4 or 5 by the time Logan arrives, there's no point fellas.
The Final Verdict
Is Marvel’s Wolverine coming to PC? Yes. Will it be the "best there is at what it does"? Absolutely. Will it make your graphics card scream like a Jean Grey nightmare? You bet your sweet adamantium it will.
Circle Spring 2026 for the gameplay reveal, and start putting aside $10 a week for that GPU upgrade. You’re going to need it if you want to see Logan’s healing factor in 4K without your motherboard turning into a puddle of molten plastic.
Until then...Stay strong Bub!
