A new GTA 6 trailer could arrive on April 1 following Rockstar’s Community Series Showcase. Here’s everything we know about the rumored reveal.

Hold your horses, GTA fans, as the official X account (formerly Twitter) of GTA Countdown has dropped a bombshell, and this time it’s “HUGE.” According to the page, GTA 6 might reveal its 3rd trailer at the end of the Community Series Showcase.

Announced on March 12, 2026, in the Newswire, Rockstar Games has decided to honour gamers who have contributed to the server till now from March 12 to April 1, 2026, by awarding them triple rewards like GTA$ 1,000,000, a free special vehicle, and a community collection.

Stating “Unusual activity has been detected from Rockstar Games,” the acclaimed X account of GTA Countdown signals that Rockstar might take a big step before April 1, 2026, by revealing some major information about the game.

Although it’s pretty unusual for Rockstar to cover their GTA Online in three weeks, a third trailer right after their Title Id’s seems like a mirage! Take it with a grain of salt because Rockstar is unpredictable; they can drop their pre-orders right now if they want to. Further in the post, the admin marked three timelines, which indicate different missions and rewards, and called it a suspicious window for a potential GTA 6 announcement, while pointing towards the upcoming trailer.

Seems absurd? Well, according to their release dates and announcement shenanigans, it seems like Rockstar will either release the trailer announcement or make an April Fool's joke of every fan out there.

For those who don’t know, the second trailer was released on May 6, 2025…. And it's been dry lately after GTA 6 added its Title ID on PlayStation Store on March 1, 2026.

Although these dates don’t make sense, the so-called “suspicious window” hints that the end of Community Series Showcase will be the commencement of the Summer Marketing Campaign, Strauss Zelnick (CEO of Take Two Interactive) announced during the Q3, 2026. Further kicking off the campaign with a pre-order announcement along with the latest trailer, which is speculated to showcase a third playable character!
